Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn Bhd from June 1998 to January 2004. He also served as Secretary-General of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment from December 1991 until March 1998. Prior to that, he was Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Social and Community Development and Deputy Director of INTAN.
