Y. Bhg. Dato' Ahmad Fuaad bin Mohd Dahalan started his 31-years career at Malaysian Airline System Berhad ("MAS") in 1973 as a management trainee, following a brief attachment at Wisma Putra, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Thereafter, he served in various assignments locally and abroad, including as Area Manager for Japan, Philippines, United Kingdom and France, Vice-President, Americas and Vice-President, United Kingdom and Europe. In June 2001, Y. Bhg. Dato' Ahmad Fuaad returned home to serve as Senior General Manager, Sales Distribution and Marketing before being appointed as the Managing Director of MAS on 1 April 2004. He resigned as the Managing Director of MAS on 22 August 2005.
