SYMLIFE ---The Voice of The Staff

I am an employee in Symphony Life Berhad. I dont represent any camp in Symphony, be it Chin Jit Pyng or Mbl or David Goh or the staff, I now have a lot of "gas" to release. Like the Chinese say 满肚火,不吐不快 , I think the enforcement authority should quickly come in and really check the mess inside Symphony.

Everyone in the office know that Bursa Malaysia  on May 13, 2022 starting asking for documents about the Rumah Selangorku (RSKU) project that Symphony was involved in with Millenium Land Sdn Bhd, that led to the unauthorised release of $4,400,000.00 to Chin Jit Ping friend Andrew Tan. The development is unfolding in the multi-parts story on Symlife CEO Under Investigation

All the staff in Symphony is now following this write-ups by blogger curtlee1980, so much so that it brings reminiscence of the days my dad and mom were following TVB series. When the staff meet in the morning, it is not to wish each other good morning but rather it is "Is Part X story out?".

True to what curtlee1980 wrote, our GCEO the squanderer Chin Jit Ping hold a staff townhall meeting on Friday May 13. Guess what? He even asked the staff "Have you read the latest Part 4?" as his opening speech!

Beside his attempt to basically white-washing his wrongdoings, the message all we staff get is that "Dont work with outsiders by providing information to hurt the hand that feed your mouth". What a thick skin fella, who should have in the first instance apologise for bringing shame to Symphony. And this is not the first time. Everyone know about how he ganged-up with Mbl to nudged out David Goh group last year, with the help of some of our top management. I will let curtlee1980 to unravels their names.

Although the company hosted a simple Hari Raya reception which should have made the atmosphere jovial, all the staff left the company on the dot at 5.30pm, demoralised and fearful to be accused as the pencuri who hang around afterwork to "steal" documents.

The most unhappy, groomy and grumpy person must have been our ACTING cfo Tan Pooi Fan, who's qualification as a Group CFO is being questioned. I know her since she started working as a "personal assistant" to Tan Sri Azman Yahya who do the running around and delivering documents. I believe my salary was higher than hers when we started working in Symphony. She now earns $40k a month and I am nothing near hers.

To Pooi Fan, I have this to say. Do you remember the chat we had together with the top management then when Tan Sri Azman Yahya told us that he has sold out his controlling block in Symphony to Mbl ? I remembered Stewart (ex-COO) said "with JP Chin coming in as CEO, symphony days are numbered, we better look for our exit before the ship sinks", as we all know what Chin Jit Ping is capable of.

Stewart resigned after Angela. I knew you handed in your resignation as well. You even said that "you cannot work in Symphony any longer because of the infighting and mud-slinging among the management and directors which bring shame to the staff".

I thought you were a righteous angel then. But when Mbl came in and Tan Sri Tan King Tai keep calling you "mei nv, mei nv 美女美女" (pretty girl, pretty girl), you relented and stay on as an ACTING cfo. Of course, Chin Jit Ping pays you so handsome ($40K a month) that you forget all your principles.

Do the right thing Pooi Fan, by resigning now. Although there is no hard and fast rule that a CFO must be a qualified accountant, you know you are incapable in handling Symphony's external auditors. Do you want to keep carrying your job designation as an ACTING cfo for the rest of your career life in Symphony? Every accounting staff in the office look up to Soo Win Ning (the Group Accountant) and not you, so much so that the once timid and quiet Soo Win Ning now walks with "air" in the office.

Gossip had it that you "fatt lan zhar"发爛渣 on Friday 13 May with the person who calls you mei nv. And both Tan Sri Tan King Tai and Botak Chua of Mbl dared not come to office this whole week. Believe me, Chinese says "Got liu mean got liu". No point in disturbing them who are aiming their axes at Chin Jit Ping now.

I would take a rest now as my "gas" is half gone. Grabbing a popcorn and a Tiger can to wait for curtlee1980's Part 5 to read who he is going to strip in public next.

In GLCs we see plundering, laidback and stagnation,
In Chinaman companies we see rival groups, infighting, back stabbing, typical of Chinese drama. Too many crooks masquerade as businessman. What the far k is happening to commerce in Malaysia?
