Its BURSA INVESTING GAME Version 2018,

crucial to throw away the Version 2017 thinkware when we play, even though its will still work, but wont b optimal.

Yes, need to use the Version 2018 thinkware, to really excel


i have a small quiz to assist ALCOM investors to identify, whether which thinkware, we are still using,

Quiz Qn.,

What is your view/ impression of ALCOM ??

1) lousy share, drop last yr fm high of 2.32 to close at 86 sen 

   - my friends almost lost their pants but i managed to escape just in time, Whoooz !  

2) dont know n dont care ! all my stks picks perfom v well, min 20% one !

3) last Qtr eps 1.93 sen was terrible, i cabut already

4) ALCOM, aluminium products mah ! now got new low profile but effective bosses frm SCLAND.
In 3 mths, came out with new gameplan to setup second revenue front in property , already bgt industrial land for rm92 m to b develop by end 2018.
got potential to outperform for 2018.
if bgt at 2/1/2018 at 85 sen, at conservative yr end price of rm1.18-1.23, will get 39-45% return

 

Sorry lah, no prizes to give out, if u say 1,2,3 is still using 2017 thinkware. !

Correct,correct,correct ! only option 4, is using latest 2018 thinkware !

1) For June 2017 drop issue

ALCOM - Notice of Book Closure
ALUMINIUM COMPANY OF MALAYSIA BERHAD

Final Special Single-Tier Dividend of 20.5 sen per share.

Kindly be advised of the following :

1) The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted "Ex - Dividend” as from: 3 Jul 2017
2) The last date of lodgment : 5 Jul 2017
3) Date Payable : 13 Jul 2017

Remarks: With reference to the Notice of the Fifty-Sixth Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Company dated 31 May 2017, the payment of the Final Special Single-Tier Dividend is subject to shareholders' approval under Resolution 1 at the aforesaid AGM which will be held on 22 June 2017. Arising from the migration to the no par value regime under the Companies Act, 2016, par value is no longer relevant.

2) For Aug 2017 drop issue

ALUMINIUM COMPANY OF MALAYSIA BERHAD

Capital reduction and repayment of RM0.32 for each ordinary share held in Aluminium Company of Malaysia Berhad ("Alcom") ("Capital Repayment").

Kindly be advised of the following :

1) The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted "Ex - Dividend” as from: 22 Aug 2017
2) The last date of lodgment : 24 Aug 2017
3) Date Payable : 11 Sep 2017

Remarks: The Capital Repayment will be implemented by way of a reduction of the share capital of Alcom under Section 116 of the Companies Act, 2016 as approved by Alcom's shareholders on 22 June 2017 and confirmed by the High Court of Malaya on 9 August 2017. Alcom's shareholders whose names appear on Alcom's Record of Depositors as at 5.00 p.m. on 24 August 2017 ("Entitlement Date"), will on 11 September 2017 receive a cash distribution under the Capital Repayment of RM0.32 for each ordinary share held on the Entitlement Date. The trading of Alcom shares on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad will not be suspended for the purpose of the Capital Repayment. Alcom's shareholders are not required to take any action in respect of the Capital Repayment.

Thks for your comments that ALCOM holders shd b making money not lose , with 52.50 sen of dividen + Capital repayment per share received last yr.

obviously, u are one of the many who made money in ALCOM, COngrats. !
