A) VINCENT TAN , CLAIMED TO BE ACTIVE DAY TRADING IN I3 FORUM 

B) LOCAL AND FOREIGN PRIVATE FUNDS SURFACE IN I3 FORUM TO REVEAL THEMSELVES

An obviously active/ over active  trader in I3 claimed to notice the hands of Vincent Tan in action here.

From the way mr.xxxx commented in this forum, I suspect mr.xxxx is actually Vincent Tan. I speculate that if mr.xxxx is truly Vincent Tan, then Vincent Tan has earned enough money from this counter and plan to move on to next counter. If this counter is going to drop further, there is reason why he has left. If this counter is going up further by tomorrow, then everyone is earning money so mr.xxxx  no need to stay in this counter to comment to help retail investors avoid the trapping. If this counter is going up, then mr.xxxx comments on this trappings of few years at 1.40-1.80 is probably irrelevant. So I can conclude that mr.xxxx is a long time surviving trader, who could be Vincent Tan or alike rich trader. The way he commented and trade is exactly the style of an experienced trader. Nobody should say anything not good about mr.xxxx because how he trades is exactly how a trader would trade. Cheers to mr.xxxx sharing his experience in trading!

THERE WAS A NOTICEABLE HUSH HUSH SILENCE FOR A GOOD 30 MINUTES BEFORE EVERYONE BROKE OUT IN RELIEF LAUGHTER, as it dawned upon forumers that Vincent Tan really have too much on his plate already, trying to cope with the many problems in his group of companies ! No way, he have the spare time to day trade here for a good two months ,n give tips on day trading too !

Guess people will believe what they want to believe, as our source is still adamant he is right :

LOL. Info from a friend who is working in one of vincent tan investment team (goreng team). Apparently vincent tan have a few professional teams which he hires to manipulate the market, all he needs to do is supply the money and his team will do all the dirty work for him. One day earn millions but can lose millions as well. He can be in any counter mind you.

If you have multi millions to invest, you cannot handle by yourself. You need a group of people with multiple trading accounts to do the trading and work as a team toward specific goal.
No need to know who is mr.xxxx but when he/she sell, the price will drop a bit and sometimes effect the market sentiment. This is because the volume sent is not in hundred of lots but in thousands.

So, the first expose of 2018 , delivered here in I3 forum, folks !

An unnamed source claimed that he noticed a blog 2 days back, which announced the arrival of a private fund (not clear whether local or private). The lady fund mgr stated  she had  a team of 10 research staff, n they were active in I3 . In fact, at least one forumer have  attempted  to  draw  more info from her, but not clear   if successful , as, at last search, the blog has disappeared without trace, like Houdini.

If anyone can verify this news, it would b much appreciated. thks in advance.

A  MORE CONCRETE NEWS IS THAT OF A FOREIGN PRIVATE FUND FROM A NEARBY KIASU COUNTRY ACTIVE IN I3 FOR SOMETIME ALREADY.

This private fund trades right from the comfort of home, with a full-fledged  team , to provide technical data on target  stocks to day trade every day.  Their highly sophisticated million dollars trading room platform hardware/software  give realtime status on trade/settlement info that allow the trader to know exactly what is their committed exposure win/loss at any instant.

Coupled with high speed  broad band links to BURSA, their traders can easily zoom in n out of the treacherous BURSA day trade waters with impunity. As their orders are almost always the first to reach either buy/sell Q. 

So, its no  surprise that this fund have been making money , by the lorry loads, surfing the waves in BURSA, 

There are probably more private funds operating here,  undetected, under the radar.

A point to note is that BURSA Malaysia, needs the presence of these big brothers local /foreign funds to make BURSA a happening place for everyone to make money.

Their presence indicate opportunities for traders/investors, as these funds will go to where the money is to be made.

However, ikan bilis investors will have to remember always, not to follow them too close, as we could very well be eaten alive, if not careful. The purpose of these funds is always to make money  , no matter what.

We should however, not misinterpret that these funds are the main cause of recent volatility in BURSA. As said earlier , the funds just go where their expertise tells them there is money to be made.

Just as, seasoned traders/investors do not shoot down/target the messenger pigeons/early birds that call for market correction/ market crash, in the midst of a happy bullish party. Rather, they see it as an early indicator, useful to alert them to start looking for the exit door. And not b caught by surprise, by the lagging indicators of an obvious peak  much later.

Hope that this brief note, has help to enable I3 members to identify some more key players here.
