The Ministry of Health is due to launch the National Strategic Action Plan for Mental Health (2019 - 2025) this month. We check in with consultant psychiatrist Assoc Prof Dr Amer Siddiq bin Amer Nordin about policy directions for mental health, the upcoming ‘Let’s Talk Malaysia’ campaign in October and where a national dialogue about mental health should take us.
