Consumer organisations have called upon eateries to stop charging their patrons for a glass of water. But how do F&B owners feel about this? We get the opinions of the guys on the other side of the coin, and discuss just how much you’re willing to pay for a glass of sky juice.

There's still cost of washing the glass or disposable cups! To keep cost at minimum, encourage self service! Better still install those water vending machine near shops or restaurant! Or bring your own bottle water!

I think it is fair to charge higher for water loh!!

Rent & workers salaries all are very expensive mah!!

If they do not charge higher price how to recover their overheads leh ?

Learn from F&B in Korea. Serving/providing free tap/filtered water should be a basic courtesy to customers.

People forget....if they give u free water....they need to recover from their higher food price mah!
