Prime Minister Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob was widely criticised on social media for wearing a RM5,500 Burberry shirt during a meeting with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in Japan. We look at the significance of wardrobe as a form of non verbal communication, the bearing this would have on the PM's public image and what makes appropriate attire for elected officials.
