KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 7): Technology solutions provider Willowglen MSC Bhd (KL:WILLOW) has secured a RM27.82 million contract from Singapore’s Kadenko Co Ltd to provide supervisory control and data acquisition (Scada) system as well as monitoring and control network.

In a bourse filing on Wednesday, Willowglen said the contract was awarded to its wholly-owned unit based in Singapore, Willowglen Services Pte Ltd. The contract commences on Wednesday (Aug 7) and will run for nearly four years until May 30, 2028.

The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2024 to 2028.

With the latest win, Willowglen has bagged three contracts year to date with a contract value totalling RM44.84 million, all from Singapore.

Shares of Willowglen settled up half a sen or 1.56% at 32.5 sen on Wednesday, valuing the group at RM163.5 million.
