If you thought US President Joe Biden’s doggie drama was a Major story, wait until the first family brings a cat to the White House.

Press secretary Jen Psaki predicts that the new furry friend will win the hearts of the American people and quickly eclipse the biting controversy over the Bidens’ antsy German shepherd.

"We know that the cat will break the Internet, but I don’t have any update on its status, ” Psaki said at a Tuesday press briefing.

The Bidens said during the presidential transition that they plan to bring a feline into their new home along with Major and Champ, their two dogs.

But so far there’s been no sign of a "first kitten” even as Biden nears 50 days in office.

The Bidens already made history with Major, who became the first rescue dog to live at the White House. But the 3-year-old pooch made headlines for all the wrong reasons this week when he was accused of biting a guard.

Major and Champ were both shipped back to the Bidens’ home town of Wilmington, Delaware, after the incident.

Psaki admitted Tuesday that "(Major) reacted in a way that resulted in a minor injury to the individual.”

A spokesperson for first lady Jill Biden said the dogs were only sent away because she was out of town for a couple of days, and vowed that they would return.

Dog trainers say it’s not uncommon for young pooches to become skittish after a move. They note that the dogs were rarely around strangers while the Bidens were hunkered down in Wilmington during the pandemic last year.

But if the Bidens’ dog was already Major-ly stressed out, what will happen when Felix cat-apults into his territory? The nation may only be scratching the surface when it comes to animal drama.
