HSI
Hong Kong shares closed in the red on Tuesday, dragged by tech firms, as investors prepared for the release of US inflation data later in the day.

Plan A: Remain long if the market stays above 17969. Targets are 18281 and 18438.

Plan B: Consider short only if the market stays below 17969. Targets are 17813 and 17656.

WTI Crude
West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil rose to a new 10-month hgih on Tuesday as supplies remain tight while OPEC left its demand forecast for this year and next unchanged and the Energy Information Administration raised its price forecast.

Plan A: Remain long as long as oil price stays above 87.50. Targets are 89.06 and 90.23.

Plan B: Consider short only if oil price stays below 87.50. Targets are 87.11 and 86.33.

 
Gold
Gold slipped to a more than two-week low on Tuesday as the dollar rebounded, while investors positioned for the U.S. inflation data on Wednesday.
