Don't get cheated by Technical Analysis (Case Study: Nanyang Newspaper's Stock Analysis on HengYuan)
I never trust Technical Analysis (TA) when making investing decisions because it is trying to use the behaviours of past records to estimate the future outcomes.
The funny part is that TA will always change its supporting level OR target price whenever the price moves.
Imaging Warren Buffett keep telling you he is changing his minds week after another week, what a crazy thing, will you ever trust WB again? Oh, sorry, I should not use Warran Buffett as an example because he will never do that.
By referring to the analysis reports below which obtained from a famous nationwide newspaper NANYANG, if you are buying the shares with the hope that the price will be supported by the respective price supports, you will lose until your pants dropped.

(20 Feb 2018)上升股:恒源炼油阻力RM17.00
(8 Feb 2018)下跌股:恒源炼油RM12.40支撑

already know by now, the technical charts put up by IB and news media, for a purpose, not to help small investors,but to influence investors thinking on likely direction where the stk is heading..

KLCI king, you must understanding what TA is about ? Nothing is forever...
Once the support is broken, technician will look for the next supports,so on and so forth..until the share price bound strongly.

Thanks. Though I agree with your assessment, TA does come in useful at times. Of course, it should not be used blindly.

TA already indicated very clearly that price break below rm16 is bearish. So why TA cannot be trusted?
