Biden, reflecting on Senate acquittal of Trump, says 'democracy is fragile'
WASHINGTON - U.S. President Joe Biden said on Saturday that the Senate's acquittal of former President Donald Trump for inciting an insurrection was a reminder that democracy was fragile, and every American had a duty to defend the truth.
"This sad chapter in our history has reminded us that democracy is fragile," Biden said in a statement hours after the Senate failed to muster the two-thirds majority needed to convict Trump.

So did many of the moderates / pragmatic politicians...... After the Turmoil and Destruction ..... Arose Deng Sau Peng to put CHINA on the Path to Modernisation. American Democracy is fast becoming a big joke. In the last election, Trump can still get about 50 % of support despite how he failed misetably in containing the pandemic which resulted in 26 millions infections and 450 thousands death. This is 200x worst than China despite China population is 4 x of US. Another joke is that during the last 2 months of his term , Trump can exercise his power to pardon scores of criminals some of whom were his associates. The latest Senate dismissal of him showed that US Democracy is the biggest joke of the century.It is obvious that US will decline as the system is against UNIVERSAL MORALITY , ETHICS and HUMAN VALUES.
