Crude futures settle lower
NEW YORK, July 29 -- Oil prices fell on Monday.
The West Texas Intermediate for September delivery lost 1.35 U.S. dollars, or 1.75 percent, to settle at 75.81 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for September delivery dropped 1.35 dollars, or 1.66 percent, to settle at 79.78 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
