An official blog in i3investor to publish sharing by Mr. Koon Yew Yin.

All materials published here are prepared by Mr. Koon Yew Yin

As you know, I have posted quite a lot of articles to teach people how to improve their investment skill to make more money. I have also advertised to offer scholarships to help poor students.

I am very happy to read intelligent comments, especially from JT Yeo and Desa20201956 whom I wish to get to know personally. Please write to me.

The photo below shows some investors who visited me during the Chinese New Year festive season. They came all the way from Penang to tell me how much they have benefitted from reading my articles.

From left Dr Steve Tan (Surgeon), Calvin Lim (Marketing Consultant), Koon Yew Yin, Dr Yeap(Anaesthetist) and Adrain Koay (Stock Broker). Obviously they have been successful.

The subsequent photo shows five girls who have received my scholarships about 10 years ago. They have all qualified as accountants and recently came to thank me for the help I have given them.

I wish to take this opportunity to cut and paste Mr Ooi Teik Bee’s comment quote

Posted by Ooi Teik Bee > Dec 16, 2015 08:55 AM on i3investor.com

“All of you aware that I am the champion in stock pick 2015 competition (last 11 months), I have very good records to show in I3 since 2013.

The aforesaid good records are still losing to Mr Koon. Mr Koon made more money than me in stock market. I have to accept the fact that I still need to learn from Mr Koon. He turned RM 10.5 into 106.5 million in 4.5 years (Please refer to Allan Yeoh's report in I3).

Mr Koon bought VS < 3.00, the present price is around 8.00. I also bought this stock at 2.52 in January 2015, I sold all at 5.95 and I never buy back until this week I bought back at 1.50.

Please do not always criticize Mr Koon unless you have better records than him. I do not need to tripod Mr Koon here to please him. He is so humble to ask me to help him to make more money in KLSE so that he will donate more money to charity. He had fulfilled his promise to me by donating RM 50 million to Penang government. How can he ask me for help since his record is better than mine ? The only reason I can think of is he is humble.

I have a very good working relationship with him, I have to admit that I learn a lot of good tips from him. He also criticise some of my stock pick even though he has no say in my stock selection. He is so humble to say sorry after he realise that he is wrong. I have very good respect on him as far as stock investment is concerned. I have to admit that he is far better than me.

This is just my opinion, please ignore if you disagree. No war here please, I hope you can look at a better picture than attack me. I am telling you the truth here.

Thank you”

Watching the movement of all my shares makes me happy, especially when most of my holdings are going up.

Unfortunately, there are a few who cannot appreciate my contribution and often make senseless comments. They must examine their own track record to see why they have performed so badly in life. Unless they change their attitude, they will remain poor and unhappy. They must remember that there are a lot of intelligent readers reading their nonsense.

Mr Koon, It is really honourable of you to help out and to share your thoughts and success stories. On top of that, you do also donate to charity, especially so in the field of education to create opportunities to the less fortunate to be able to be on par with those borned with a silver spoon. With proper education one is able to fend for oneself in this tough business environment to earn a decent living and to help out indirectly as well their related parties with a multiplier effect. You do have my greatest respect in this area even though I am new to this forum. Do keep it up and do not care about those adverse critics. There are even many more who are your firm followers of your actions.

Thank you Mr Koon for your articles. The best time to buy is in a panic situation when investors make irrational decision to sell good stocks with good FA. Eg FL Bhd - net cash 85c per share , no debt , eps 20c last 9months , last 3month eps 9.35c. Potential to hit 12months eps of 30c and more cash in balance sheet.
I bought MPI few years ago average 4.00-4.50 when nobody wants. Now MPI is making good profit with net cash of approx 180m. EPS approx 40c last 6 months. Last 12months eps approx 70c.

2016-02-14 23:54

OPMS

somewhat agree with Daniel Lim, it is better if the rich could help the poor by one way or another. It's just as noble as donating for students, if not more.

Thank you Mr Koon. I am new here. My 1st comment. Anyway the 1st lesson I learn from you is not buying stock market, rather your generousity. I had learn that rich is not measure by how much money we have, but how much we can give and contirbute. I had make a habit to give/donate every month. I never thought that RM100 can buy so many packs for grains and cooking oil. I will give more and more while I learn to earn more and more.

Have a lot to learn from you, Mr Koon

justinmce, God bless you!

mr koon, you must help those who can help others, not help those who only concern about their own family. i have only a wife and my dad is 85 years old.if i make a lot also in the end i will only give all to charity

Respect your generosity Mr KYY to share your knowledge, as well as your donation to charity and good causes.I FAIL to understand why a few morons do not learn from the nuggets dispensed by you.It is their Loss. "Great minds discuss ideas.Small minds discuss people."

it is time to upgrade the mind set ,instead of giving financial assistants to students, why not buy up an college , and charging very low fees to those who want to study.50m look like more then sufficient , it is better then donate to Penang government , which may not need those money.

Mr. Koon, you did well and people who you helped shall remember you and perhaps they should follow your trail to help others also. God Bless.

It is only fair that help must be given to your poor relatives first because charity begins at home then only people at large.

Unless murali change his attitude he will remain poor. He should write to me instead of hiding behind the stupid name. If you have something intelligent to write why don't you use your real name. Why don't you write an article? I don't think you are capable.
