Emerging markets fear subsiding?
I would say YES.
Emerging markets have been dropping for a while now and fear is subsiding. Here are the reasons....
- Turkey factor
Contagion effect? None detected.....
-Trump wars
Signs of rebellion and failure getting obvious
- They even beg China for negotiations....laughable.
- Signs Republicans will lose big in mid terms......with that we are home free
-No market can keep dropping without reversal......this is not a major crisis, just a normal run of the milll issue
- even Goldman Sachs has just upgraded Malaysia
- Trade wars?
Actually exports to US as a percentage of China GDP is negligible
Same for exports from US to China
Both are heavily dependent on domestic consumption
-some trade wars may even benefit Malaysia eg...relocation of manufacturing to Malaysia.
- 2025 Made in China project is unstoppable and will succeed beyond what the critics say
Stock market, always got risk....but at what level of risk? I think this is certainly a good time to take some risk............

Jack Ma expects trade war to last 20 years since it is likely to be a US policy of containment of China.

"nevertheless Make in China 2025 will succeed as planned."
I am of the same view. China needs this nudge to wake her up.

yeah....Trump and the cowboys think they can win.
the only thing it does is make China depend less on US.

US said China is copying. But, this is no big deal. The Germans copied. The Japanese copied. If copying is that easy, we would have seen India's local made fighter planes grabbing the limelight. After 30 years, India have not succeeded. To date, we can only see China's J20 in the air.

I have seen US news....they don't know what they are talking about....But China will win......China will emerge victorious.

events of previous week have confirmed the observation......not even the latest round of tariffs changed any thing....I expect emerging markets to out perform US market for the rest of the year.
while China's stock and currency markets have been affected in recent months...the real economy in China continues to grow at above 6%.....and Malaysia?
Shares of Malaysian manufacturers for export markets have been the big winners n recent weeks....no other theme in the horizon.
