In addition, it trades in and generates energy through the establishment of biogas plants; and is involved in the wholesale, import, and export of eggs products. Further, the firm provides waste management and cool room services. It also produces, processes, preserves, and wholesales meat and meat related products; and engages in the fertilizer and agriculture businesses. The firm earns most of its revenue from Poultry Farming segment.

Aik,price drop so little only? Probably sideways between 60 to 75 cents for next quarter depending on economic activity.
Good points :
1. Layer farming
2. Solar energy to reduce relliance on electricity
3. Eggs exported to overseas. Depends on currency exchange
Bad points :
1. Corn and soy price increase
2. Depressed egg price
3. Many competitors
4. No share buy back by company
5. Director not buying shares recently
6. Hopefully management not conning around.
7. If next quarter still qr red..gearing ratio may be affected.
Already topped up twice since bought in 2019. I think gonna wait. Another Pantech de javu maybe..keep my fingers crossed.

Back to profit during lock down month. Q4 should be better after the economic, restaurant, canteen, travel holiday back to normal.

I remember the old uncle recommended teo seng on 15 July 2019 when the price was at the range RM1.14-1.21. now it drops to RM0.76. The trend says a lot about uncle's prowess in selecting stock.

According to Bernama, local media reported an almost 30 per cent shortage of fresh chickens in the market. This has caused an increase in the price for the poultry.
......The price of chicken at the retail level was reported to have risen to RM11 per kilogram since the start of Ramadan and is forecast to rise to RM11.50 in the near future.....
The feedback received from the egg wholesalers stated that the main factor behind this sudden drop is due to lack of eggs received from farm operators. It is due to the increasing demand for eggs during Ramadan and the farms prioritise their own local market first.”
