KUCHING: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) has not held any discussions with Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin about Cabinet posts in the new Federal Government, says Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg.

The Sarawak Chief Minister, however, declined to comment further when pressed for details.

"Wait for PBB's meeting tomorrow (March 7)," he told reporters after opening a songket gallery here on Friday (March 6).

PBB, the backbone party of the state coalition, is scheduled to have a supreme council meeting at its headquarters here at 3pm on Saturday.

Earlier this week, Abang Johari had said that getting Cabinet posts was not GPS' top priority although any offers would be considered.

"Assuming there is an invitation to us, I will look into it. But that is secondary. The country comes first," he had said, adding that GPS' main consideration in supporting Muhyiddin was to save Malaysia from political turmoil.
