I'm willing to take pay cut, says Muhyiddin

PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is willing to take a pay cut as part of efforts to keep the government's spending in check, following the current economic situation.

"We know we have to be prudent, but we are facing a (current) situation where national unity is crucial. We need harmony.

"There are costs (that come with it). We will do whatever it takes (to maintain harmony).

"I will take the challenge for my salary to be cut 5 to 10 per cent. I can do it first. (However), we didn't discuss that today, so don't preempt.

"We can contribute where we can. Hope we can save some few millions (of ringgit). We can do that," he told a Press conference after chairing the first Cabinet meeting today.

Muhyiddin was asked on the possibility of a pay cut among ministers, owing to the large Cabinet, following the creation of new ministries including the National Unity Ministry as announced on Monday.

1ST OF ALL THE PH GOVT IS ACTUALLY RUN BY PM MAHATHIR..WITH BAD INTENTION TO SABOTAGE THE GOVT AS HE DO NOT WANT TO HAND IT TO ANWAR MAH...!!

2ND WHEN PH GOVT TOOK OVER FROM BN..THE ECONOMY ALREADY IN BAD SHAPE MAH...!!

1. TABUNG HAJI NEED A BAIL OUT AS MUCH AS RM 20 BILLION.
2. FELDA NEED TO BAIL OUT FOR RM 6 BILLION.
3. LTAT NEED A BAIL OUT FOR RM 6B.
4. MAS NEED A BAIL OUT FOR RM 6B.
5. KELANTAN GOVT ALMOST BANKRUPT NEED RM 3B

3. THERE IS ALREADY A TRADE WAR BETWEEN USA V CHINA THAT WILL IMPACT MSIA LOH....!!

4. PALMOIL PRICES ALMOST COLLAPSE LOH.....!!

5. MAHATHIR IS GOING AROUND FIGHTING INDIA, CHINA, USA AND ISRAEL IMPACTING THE PUBLIC RELATION & ECONOMY LOH...!!

6. ALOT OF CONTRACTS ARE AWARDED AT HIGH COST WITH HIDDEN HIGH MARGIN THAT NEED TO BE UNDONE BY THE GOVT TO REDUCE CORRUPTION LEAKAGES LOH..!!

3RD UNDER SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES HOW CAN EXPECT THE PH GOVT TO DO WELL, WHEN MAHATHIR WITH THE ILL INTENTION TO BETRAY IN THE DRIVER SEATS LEH ??

I)economy getting worst
Ii)Rm depreciate from rm 3.80 to rm 4.20
Iii)Stock market drop from 1880 to below 1500 point
Iv)Many things increase in price compare of promise reduce cost of living
v)Minister of PH never show much example.

People go off because of these 5 things.Not betrayal.
