Umno needs to stand united, set aside differences to win GE15, says Khaled

JOHOR BARU: While there was no denying that friction existed in Umno, it was important not to let it tear the party apart, says Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin (pic).
"True, we will never be able to agree on everything but do not let our differences in opinion divide us. That is wrong.
"To deny that there are frictions within Umno is a lie. However, these frictions are part and parcel of politics. Do not let it cause cracks that would only cause Umno to lose out," said the Umno vice-president in a Facebook post on Saturday (July 30).
Umno needs to stand united and set aside its differences to win the next general election, he said while adding that winning the next election was the main focus of the party for the stability of the country.
"To win the election and get a new mandate, the party must stand together with one direction.
"That direction is Umno's direction, not the (party) president's, not the prime minister's and not the direction of any groups or clusters.
"For this unity to be achieved, all factions within Umno must come together. Do not be carried away with infighting and politicking, as that would only weaken Umno from the inside," he said.
He added that those with their own interests outside the party would be happy to see Umno falling apart and become weak.
"Come back to the direction of Umno, which has been the reason for all of us to join politics in the first place.
"Umno is the platform for us to serve the people and spread goodness all these while. This will never stop," he said.

A sane person would not let this party to continue stealing and robbing the country's resources. No doubt there are some forumers here in the name of MCA members supporting these people.

Never under estimate BN especially Umno. Many silly people willing to sell their votes for RM50. This is a very stup1d act. The smartest move is take the money whatever they give you, then vote for Pakatan Harapan. Be a wise voter.

Goh! I support you! But problem is, Harapan only give RM30 annually! Then go on whining about one trillion debt! Everyday whining and complaining! I mean rakyat gave Harapan a chance! They should be better government! Instead Harapan gave us cycle of frustration and dissapointment! Those 22 months was a nightmare! I hope Harapan grew up this round!

Harapan's manifesto was for 5 years, not 22 months. A country rotten for 60 years, you cannot expect it to heal in 22 months immediately. Afterall, the PM post was given to Dr Mahathir. He wielded his own absolute power, overriding other component parties' wishes. A lot of people do not understand this point.
Either you want to leave a rotten govt to your future generations or go for another change. It's that simple.

Jangan bagi alasan la. Manifesto for 100 days also they cannot do and achieve. They are the one who set that target and KPI but they cannot deliver. Dont give banyak alasan la that they dont have enough time because they fall after 22 months. Just admit that PH is incompetent's and they cannot govern the country. They lie and lie and lie to the people. You think rakyat can accept for the second time and will forget and forgive what they have done. Of course no and that is why after 3 change of government Rakyat now give all their support to BN.
