WHILE the talk of the town revolves around Opposition leader Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin’s son being charged for providing false information in connection with cooking oil subsidies, a video of a Perikatan Nasional (PN) supporter tossing a ‘PMX bicycle’ went viral.

In a TikTok parody video, the individual gets enraged with a woman who may be his wife for purchasing second-hand products of poor quality.

“I told you to buy BMX not PMX. Please be logical. The item is not of good quality,” the man said angrily before throwing the children’s bicycle.

Prior to that, the man vacuumed the grassy area in the vicinity of the palm oil plantation.

The 43-second video went viral after Hamzah’s son got caught for presenting forged documents and having cooking oil control items in excess of the allowed amount.

Rimba Merpati Sdn Bhd directors Muhammad Faisal Hamzah, 39 and Azizul Abdul Halim, 55, were brought before the Seremban Sessions Court yesterday (April 5) on nine charges linked to the matter.

Both men pleaded not guilty.

However, the allegations state that both of them provided the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry with fraudulent information while holding wholesale licences for scheduled restricted products, specifically cooking oil.

They committed the act on August 12, 2022, at about 5pm at the KPDN Seremban 2 Office. - April 6, 2023
