Rafizi dismisses claims that federal govt will fall after state polls

PUTRAJAYA, June 20 — It would “numerically” difficult for the unity government to fall after the state elections as being claimed by certain quarters, Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli said today.
“Logically how can that happen after the state elections? A vote of no confidence is not going to take place, you cannot switch parties (any longer), and if the largest block exits the unity government, the government stays, and it is numerically difficult,” he told the media after an engagement session between the Economy Ministry and the Federal Territories Department here today.
Razifi, who is also PKR deputy president, was responding to PAS deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man’s statement that the state elections this time will be unique and how it could cause a rift in the unity government if Perikatan Nasional (PN) is able to emerge victorious in five of the six states involved.
Six states — Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah, Negeri Sembilan, Penang and Selangor will be facing elections this year.
On the progress of seat allocation negotiations between Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional for the polls, Rafizi said talks were almost done with 98 per cent of seats finalised.
“There are a few overlapping claims which will be resolved later,” he said. — Bernama

I dont know how Federal government will collapse! This is not GE16! Even without Umno, we still have majority unity government! Actually it's better without Umno!

At this stage PH have no choice but to mobilize every PH voters to support UMNO. Everyone know, UMNO grassroot. still not happy about UMNO cooperation with PH due to DAP. UMNO leaders trying so hard to ensure their grassroot support UG but its not enough. Timing is not in their side. And the possibility of UMNO lost badly in the state election is higher and this will trigger another force of requesting Zahid to step down. If Zahid step down this will also trigger UMNO pull out from UG and this will cause UG government without strong Malay voters backing and this cause possible change of Federal Government and PH risk of Lossing badly in next GE.

Everytime Pas lawmakers talk in parliment, we sure see IQ level of majority malays drop by few inches! I mean, i thought parliment is a place to discuss crucial issues! But to talk about nurses dress, or serving beer on airlines, or implementing taliban laws is next level dumbass!

Historically, issues raised by PAS MPs are based on moral policing like a school discipline master. Nothing of value economically. Zero input on how to spur economy or develop the nation. If they are concerned about afterlife, they should perish now and let others live a meaningful life. I thought compelling is forbidden, but patronising is not?
