SHAH ALAM: Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor's sedition trial at the High Court has been postponed pending the decision of his second representation to the Attorney-General's Chambers.(A-GC)

At the onset of the proceedings, Sanusi's lawyer, Awang Armadajaya Awang Mahmud told judge Datuk Aslam Zainuddin that his client had instructed him to send in a representation to the A-GC.

This is Sanusi's second representation after his first was rejected by the A-GC.

"There is a new development in this case and my client has instructed me to send a representation to the A-GC and we have sent it last week.

"And I believe the Attorney-General needs time to consider the representation and with the new development in this case, therefore, I apply for the postponement of two months for parties to obtain full information and to consider the representation," he said.
