MINISTER of Economy and Pandan MP, Rafizi Ramli, advised opposition supporters who are envious of his approach of meeting the public through mobile counters to suggest similar methods to their representatives.

Rafizi emphasized that criticisms demanding his resignation for not advancing the country are unfounded.

He believes that the mobile counter approach, which he adopted before becoming an MP, is effective in assisting Pandan residents, especially with issues related to government departments.

Rafizi stressed that this method or formula is free and can be used by all MPs, including the opposition.

“Some people are upset when I meet the public at my mobile counter.”

“My approach of meeting with the public in my parliamentary area is an old method that I have been practicing since before I became an MP,” he said in a video that he uploaded on his social media accounts.

He also defended his role as Pandan MP.

“It is the right of Pandan residents to have me as their MP. Why should we burden the residents to come to the office to raise their issues when one of my responsibilities is to help resolve their daily problems?

“Look for opposition MPs who only appear on TikTok with hot issues but are absent on the ground addressing daily problems of the people.” - Aug 24, 2024
