PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, while praising the current collaboration between Pakatan Harapan (PH), UMNO, and Barisan Nasional (BN), said he wished for the same collaboration in the 16th General Elections (GE16).

For that matter, Anwar, who is also the PH Chairman, indicated that discussions for further cooperation in the upcoming 16th General Election (PRU16) are still open. 

“Our relationship with UMNO and BN is very good at this stage, and the cooperation is very satisfying.

“Therefore, we are still open to discussing future cooperation in a positive manner,” he said when met by reporters after officiating the National Mosque Conference for Al-Aqsa and Palestine in conjunction with World Mosque Day 2024 at the Federal Territory Mosque in Kuala Lumpur today.

Earlier, UMNO President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi raised questions about whether to continue collaborating or to go solo.

But he later confirmed that BN would work with PH for PRU16, with both parties using their own symbols. - Aug 25, 2024
