Zahid: Mandatory halal certification not yet a policy, only proposal

KUALA LUMPUR: The mandatory halal certification for food operators and restaurants is not yet a policy by the government.
Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the matter was only at proposal stage for further review.
