The era of strong US$ will be truly and forever over...Trump intends to propose a drastic cut in corporate tax to 15%..................and that is good for Malaysia and China as we don't have to worry about currency slides. The weakness of ringgit is recent years have held back foreign investors. With this factor solved, foreign investors are coming back to Malaysia. China will relax its capital controls once the pressure on the yuan eases, and that is good for HK and Malaysia.
Put your head together...Think of the implications.
The world and East Asia in particular has to find an alternative investment for their central banks. No more reserve currency status for US$.
Air Asia and AAX will fly.
what else?

Genting will fly because Genting is the best of the blue chips for foreign funds.
Genting also very highly geared warrants for extraordinary returns.

When Trump approves a tax cut, he does it with the U.S. in mind. I believe the tax cut move aims to attract, if not repatriate, both local and foreign investors and entepreneurs to make America great again.
This will lead to strengthening of U.S dollar. Yet, a prospering business environment requires currency stability, and that the currency being too strong can weaken export as well. So there are measures employed to depreciate U.S. dollar so as to make it competitive and business-friendly in international context.
How about Malaysia? We're just a chess moving together with U.S. Dow Jones. I believe there will be more positive impacts to our Bursa if we first fix our nation's credibility and political stability. Then the funds will flow in.
China for sure. Already buying up Proton from Hicom. Alipay partnering with local e-commerce activities, so we can see funds flowing in, positively.

Try to give this Sorchai author benefit of doubt, but in the end, I would said author mind got holes, big holes, maybe suffering ego disillusionment. I tell myself throw it into rubbish bin whenever see stock Manny posts or comment. It is an insult to my logic of mind.

weak US$ can only be good for all logistics technology and e commerce companies.....furthermore, this is a bull market isn't it?
