M+ Online Market Wrap – 29 Feb 16: KLCI -8.69pts (-0.52%) @1,654.75 pts. The FBM KLCI started off the week on a dour tone as the key index fell 0.5% on the back of profit taking activities in selective oil & gas and plantation heavyweights. On the broader market, selling pressure emerged and ended in red, but the FBM Ace (+0.2) outperformed the lower liners. On the FBM KLCI, there are 8 advancers, 21 decliners and 1 traded unchanged. WTI Crude oil price stood at US$32.45.
