M+ Online Market Wrap – 7 Mar 16: KLCI +5.44pts (+0.32%) @1,697.93 pts. Despite the FBM KLCI traded above the 1,700 psychological level in the morning session, quick profit taking activities erased most of the intraday gains. The lower liners ended mostly lower as the FBM Small Cap and FBM Fledging fell 0.9% and 0.8% respectively, while the broader market closed with a negative environment as losers outpaced gainers. On the FBM KLCI, there are 21 advancers, 5 decliners and 4 traded unchanged. WTI Crude oil price stood at US$36.55.
