The FBM KLCI (+0.2%) rose for the second straight session but gains were limited, owing to the quick profit taking amongst selective index heavyweights as the FBM KLCI traded near the 1,730 level. Concurrently, the lower liners ended mostly higher while the Consumer Products (-0.2%) and Mining (-2.4%) sub-indices underperformed the broader market. On the FBM KLCI, there are 20 advancers and 6 decliners and 4 traded unchanged. WTI Crude oil price stood at US$38.90.
