This blog provides market updates and trading ideas that I gather from around the web.

Dow Jones: 17,556.41 pts (-20.55 pts, -0.12%).
Despite being traded in the positive territory for most of the trading session, the eleventh hour profit taking sent the Dow to close lower. Meanwhile, investors are bracing for the worst quarterly season since the financial crisis.

FBM KLCI: 1,715.28 pts (-3.12 pts, -0.18%).
The FBM KLCI looks to further consolidate between the 1,700-1,730 levels over the near term as the trading sentiment might be muted by the lack of local fresh leads. Nevertheless, trading sentiment could be centred towards oil & gas stocks as crude oil prices extended their rally.

Crude Palm Oil: RM2,667 (-RM12, -0.45%).
CPO prices continue to trend lower for the fifth straight trading day, after erasing all its intraday gains. Nevertheless, the RM2,800 level will serve as the immediate resistance level.

WTI Crude oil: US$40.36 (+US$0.64, +1.61%).
WTI crude oil prices extended its gains to close above the US$40 per barrel mark as traders continue to place hopes ahead of the meeting between oil producers in Doha, aimed for freezing production output at current levels.

Gold: US$1253.08 (+US$+12.39, +1.00%)
Gold closed sharply higher, forming a flag formation breakout above the 1,250 level. Price may extend its gains towards 1,300.
