This blog provides market updates and trading ideas that I gather from around the web.

Dow Jones: 17,928.35 pts (+222.44pts, +1.26%)
U.S. stockmarkets rebounded higher and the Dow added more than 200 pts in a single day led by technology and financial stocks, coupled with higher commodities prices in crude oil; erasing the negative tone for the past two weeks.

FBM KLCI: 1,635.84 pts (+3.65pts, +0.22%)
Selling activities on the FBM KLCI could have overdone as the RSI is suggesting that the FBM KLCI is oversold. The key index may extend its rebound over the near term as a follow-through formation towards yesterday's hammer candle.

Crude Palm Oil: RM2,661 (-RM1, -0.04%)
Crude palm oil prices trended sideways despite a decline in palm oil inventories in Malaysia to a fourteen-month low as El Nino dry spell curbed production growth. CPO price may retest the resistance of RM2,700.

WTI Crude Oil: $44.66 (+$1.22, +2.80%)
As Canadian wildfire issue persisted, refiners in the U.S. Midwest can tap into the 66.3 mln barrels of crude stored in Cushing, Oklahoma as an alternative supply. WTI crude may trend mildly higher over the near term towards resistance near the US$46-US$47 levels.

Gold: $1,265.84 (+$1.96, +0.16%)
Gold investors were seen returning into exchange-traded products as gold prices are hovering near the lowest point in more than a week. Gold ETPs have risen for 10 straight days as a slowdown in global growth and a slower pace of the interest rates hike in the U.S. boosted the metals demand.
