This blog provides market updates and trading ideas that I gather from around the web.

Dow Jones: 17,526.62 pts (-3.36pts, -0.02%)
U.S. stockmarkets ended marginally lower as Dollar rallied, while Treasuries plunged after minutes showing that the Fed could raise interest rates as early as June; tech, healthcare and retailers stocks were focused.

FBM KLCI: 1,635.72 pts (+2.33pts, +0.14%)
The FBM KLCI managed to rebound higher after taken a beating in the first session as buying interest emerged within selected heavyweights like BAT and DIGI. As technicals suggest that the key index is oversold, it may rebound higher towards the resistance of 1,660.

Crude Palm Oil: RM2,561 (-RM39, -1.50%)
CPO prices fell as traders shorted on the back of the anticipation that the production might rebound amid the recent rainfall in some plantations in Malaysia.

WTI Crude Oil: $48.19 (-$0.12, -0.25%)
As soon as WTI Crude oil prices traded near US$50 per barrel mark, selling pressure emerged as dollar surged after Fed released the minutes, suggesting a potential June hike is in store.

Gold: $1,258.50 (-$20.45, -1.60%)
Gold extended its drop after most Federal Reserve policy makers in April said an interest-rate increase would be appropriate in June if the economy continues to improve.
