U.S. stockmarkets ended on a positive tone as the Dow surged above the 18,000 psychological level and the S&P500 closed near the 10-month high. Technicals are fairly positive on the chart; both the Dow and S&P 500 may revisit their all-time-high respectively over the near term.

FBM KLCI: 1,657.85 pts (-2.77pts, -0.17%)
The FBM KLCI taken a mild retracement on the back of profit taking activities after the key index has rose more than 40 points over the past few trading days. Support will be pegged around 1,630.

Crude Palm Oil: RM2,589 (-RM10, -0.38%)
CPO prices retreated for another session ahead of the official release of data on Friday, coupled with the stronger Ringgit. 

WTI Crude Oil: $51.23 (+$0.87, +1.74%)
WTI crude oil extended its gains above the US$50 per barrel mark as crude stockpiles dropped 3.23 mln barrels last week, after falling 5.59 mln barrels in the previous two weeks, according to Energy Information Administration. 

Gold: $1,262.80 (+$18.99, +1.53%)
Gold recovered strongly after a two day pause near the US$1,240 level. Price may extend its rally towards the US$1,300 level.
