Profit taking activities sent Wall Street lower in the final trading day of the year as the Dow fell 0.3% but managed to record a 13.4% Y.o.Y gain in 2016.

FBM KLCI: 1,641.73 pts (+3.80pts, +0.23%)
Window dressing activities lifted the FBM KLCI higher for the fourth consecutive session but the key index fell 3.0% Y.o.Y in 2016. The immediate resistance level is located around the 1,650 level.

Crude Palm Oil: RM3,109 (+RM3, +0.10%)
Crude palm oil prices closed largely unchanged as traders retreated to the side-lines ahead of the extended year-end break. The RM3,200 level will serve as the immediate resistance level.

WTI Crude Oil: $53.72 (-$0.05, -0.09%)
Crude oil prices closed marginally lower ahead of the planned OPEC and non-OPEC production cut. Crude oil prices might trend towards the US$55-US$60 levels.

Gold: $1,147.50 (+$2.38, +0.21%)
Gold prices halted its four straight winning streaks on profit taking activities. The US1,100 will serve as the immediate support level.
