U.S. stockmarket advanced to fresh all-time high levels as the Dow surpassed the 20,000 psychological level on optimism over President Donald Trump’s economic policy coupled with the recovery in corporate earnings.

Tracking the positive sentiments across global stockmarkets, the FBMKLCI advanced yesterday as the key index continues to hold above the 1,680 level. The immediate resistance level is located around the 1,700 level.

Crude Palm Oil: RM3,125 (-RM24, -0.76%)
Crude palm oil prices retreated on concern over the stronger Ringgit could curb demand. The RM3,200 level will serve as the immediate resistance level.

WTI Crude Oil: $52.75 (-$0.43, -0.81%)
Crude oil prices halted a streak of four consecutive gains after U.S. crude stockpiles rose. Crude oil prices might trend towards the US$55-US$60 levels.
