U.S. stockmarkets closed mixed as the Dow (+0.2%) extended its gains ahead of the preliminary 4Q2016 GDP growth data, but the S&P 500 (-0.1%) retreated from its record high level.

FBM KLCI: 1,692.22 pts (+8.29pts, +0.49%)
The FBMKLCI extended its gains to close at five months high, spurred by buying support from foreign funds. The immediate resistance level is located around the 1,700 level.

Crude Palm Oil: RM3,087 (-RM38, -1.22%)
Tracking the weakness in soybean oil prices, crude palm oil prices extended its losses yesterday. The RM3,200 level will serve as the immediate resistance level.

WTI Crude Oil: $53.78 (+$1.03, +1.95%)
Crude oil prices resume its gains hopes over OPEC production cut will accelerate the rebalancing of demand and supply. Crude oil prices might trend towards the US$55-US$60 levels.

Gold: $1,188.50 (-$12.19, -1.02%)
Gold prices fell for the third straight session on lower demand. The US1,250 will serve as the immediate resistance level.
