The FBM KLCI closed higher on Wednesday, owing to buying-support in Hong Leong Bank and Genting-affiliated companies amid a stronger Ringgit. Market breadth however, was weak as losers outpaced the winners on a ratio of 678-to-321 stocks. Meanwhile, banking giants like Hong Leong Bank (+58.0 sen), RHB Bank (+7.0 sen) and Maybank (+3.0 sen) outperformed its peers at today’s closing.
