U.S. stockmarkets suffered its worst session year-to-date as the Dow slipped 0.7% after the ten-year bond yield rose to its highest level since 2014. The immediate resistance is located at 27,000.

Tracking the gains in Wall Street coupled with the firmer crude oil prices, the FBM KLCI (+0.9%) started off the week on a firm footing as the key index advanced for the third straight session. The immediate resistance is located at 1,890.

Crude Palm Oil: RM2,519 (+RM35, +1.41%)
Crude palm oil prices rebounded on expectation over the lower output in January whilst demand from India gear up. The immediate support is envisaged around RM2,400.

WTI Crude Oil: $65.56 (-$0.58, -0.88%)
Crude oil prices retreated amid the stronger U.S. Dollar coupled with the rising production in U.S. The immediate resistance is located at US$70.

Gold: $1,340.33 (-$8.79, -0.65%)
Gold prices retreated after the U.S. Dollar appreciated against a basket of currencies. The immediate resistance will be pegged around US$1,350.
