The FBM KLCI (+0.4%) recovered all its’ intraday losses owing to the lingering concern over rising cases of Covid-19, shored up by eleventh hour buying interest in gloves heavyweights as the key index snapped a four-day losing streak. Market breadth, however, stayed negative as losers overpowered the gainers on a ratio of 662-to-371 stocks. The healthcare sector (+4.8%) outperformed the mostly negative broader market led by gains from Supermax (+87.0 sen), Top Glove (+80.0 sen) and Hartalega (+56.0 sen).
