FBM KLCI: 1,576.96 pts (-5.73pts, -0.36%)

The FBM KLCI (-0.4%) marked its third-session pullback in tandem with the regional stockmarkets, mainly dragged by the banking and healthcare heavyweights. Market breadth remained negative as the decliners hammered the advancers by 778-to-284 stocks. Persistent selling pressure on the broader market pushed most of the sector indices further into the red, the technology sector (-3.25%) suffered the most with sharp decline noticed on MYEG (-6.0 sen), FRONTKN (-26.0 sen), and VITROX (-30.0 sen).
