The FBM KLCI (+0.04%) inched marginally higher as the key index erased most of its intraday gains, despite a stronger GDP readings at 8.9% for 2Q22. Market breadth remained positive as the advancers outpaced the decliners by 440-to-367 stocks. The healthcare sector (-2.61%) plummeted, largely due to persistent selldown in glove counters led by HARTA (-28.0 sen), TOPGLOV (-7.0 sen), and KOSSAN (-10.0 sen). Meanwhile, the utilities sector (+0.92%) gained momentum led by TENAGA (+5.0 sen), MALAKOF (+1.0 sen) and RANHILL (+3.5 sen).
