The FBM KLCI shed 0.14% in a volatile session as selected banking, plantation and healthcare heavyweights declined amid cautious sentiment following the slowdown in China economy. Market breadth turned negative as the decliners led the advancers by 496-to-319 stocks. Meanwhile, the broader market traded in a negative-biased undertone with persistent selldown being noticed in the healthcare sector (-2.15%); glove manufacturers such as TOPGLOV (-6.0 sen), HARTA (-14.0 sen), and KOSSAN (-8.5 sen) remained as the laggards.
