FBM KLCI: 1,413.04 pts (-11.94pts, -0.84%)

The FBM KLCI (-0.84%) slumped for the fourth straight session as plantation, banking, and telecommunication heavyweights led losses, tracking the negative performances across the regional bourses. Market breadth remained negative as the decliners trounced the advancers by 780-to-164 stocks. The broader market has once again gone into selloff mode as all 13 major sub-indices ended inl  red; the energy sector (-4.25%) tumbled due to steep selldown in YINSON (-11.0 sen), ARMADA (-2.0 sen), and VELESTO (-1.0 sen), followed by the plantation sector (-2.40%).
