TMK Chemical Bhd has launched the prospectus for its Main Market initial public offering (IPO), aiming to raise about RM385 million to fund the expansion of its plant, the construction of new facilities, and potential acquisitions. (NST)

Topvision Eye Specialist Bhd aims to raise RM17.9 million through the issuance of 54.22 million new shares at 33 cents per share to deliver high-quality eye healthcare across Malaysia. (NST)

Environmental engineering consultancy firm Progressive Impact Corp Bhd (KL:PICORP) has bagged a RM14.74 million contract from water utility company Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) to provide water quality control service in Selangor. (TheEdge)

Top Glove Corp Bhd (KL:TOPGLOV) has entered into a joint venture (JV) with US glove importer Tronex (Asia) Ltd, and Polywel International Trade Co Ltd for the production and distribution of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) gloves. (TheEdge)

Tex Cycle Technology (M) Bhd recorded a 98 per cent jump in net profit for the third quarter of 2024 (3Q24), to RM2.4 million from RM1.2 million in the same period last year. (NST)

Allianz Malaysia Bhd recorded a net profit of RM183.18 million in the third quarter (3Q) ended Sept 30, 2024, down 7.4 per cent from the RM197.86 million achieved in the same period last year. (NST)

Kitchen cabinet manufacturer Signature International Bhd (KL:SIGN) saw its net profit more than doubled to RM28.3 million for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2024 (3QFY2024), from RM14.1 million a year earlier, thanks to higher profit margins from project revenue. (TheEdge) 

Melaka-based D&O Green Technologies Bhd’s (KL:D&O) net profit for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2024 (3QFY2024) was flat at RM18.25 million from a year earlier despite thinner gross margin. (TheEdge)

CSC Steel Holdings Bhd (KL:CSCSTEL) said on Friday its third quarter net profit fell 21% from a year earlier though the company is optimistic of rising prices and demand for steel ahead. (TheEdge)

Bintulu Port Holdings Bhd (KL:BIPORT), the operator of East Malaysia’s largest container port, reported a 13.68% drop in its third quarter net profit, mainly due to a jump in operating costs due to an increase in expenditure incurred on service contracts, as well as for repair and maintenance. Biomass boiler firm BM Greentech Bhd (KL:BMGREEN) reported a 55% jump in net profit for its second quarter ended Sept 30 (2QFY2025) to a record high of RM13 million from RM8.38 million a year earlier, driven by higher revenue. (TheEdge)

Sarawak Plantation Bhd (KL:SWKPLT) has announced a second interim dividend of 15 sen per share, as its latest third quarter net profit rose 14.6%, despite lower revenue, thanks largely to a higher fair value gain on its biological assets. (TheEdge)

Affin Bank Bhd expects the overall outlook for the domestic banking sector to remain favourable for the remainder of 2024 supported by steady loan and financial growth as well as stable asset quality (TheStar)
