The FBM KLCI (+0.72%) rebounded amidst improved sentiment on the back of easing fears over US banking crisis. Market breadth turned positive as the advancers led the decliners by 604-to-289 stocks. All the 13 major sectorial indices ended in the positive territory, led by the health care sector (+1.70%) as glove manufacturers such as KOSSAN (+5.0 sen), TOPGLOV (+1.5 sen), and HARTA (+3.0 sen) gained traction. Meanwhile, the energy sector (+1.66%) advanced after OPEC upgraded oil demand from China.
