The FBM KLCI (+0.80%) extended gains amid revived risk appetite on the regional markets as fears over banking crisis eased. Market breadth turned positive as the advancers hammered the decliners by 574-to-331 stocks. A sustained crude oil price drew investors into the energy sector (+2.31%) with YINSON (+11.0 sen), DIALOG (+4.0 sen), and ARMADA (+1.5 sen) leading the gains. Meanwhile, the health care sector (+1.93%) rebounded as IHH (+8.0 sen), TOPGLOV (+4.0 sen), and HARTA (+6.0 sen) gained momentum.
