The FBM KLCI (+0.15%) ended slightly higher due to bargain hunting activities after the recent pullback move, but still hovering below the 1,450 level. Market breadth however, was negative with losers outpacing gainers by 564-to-367 stocks. On the broader market, the Transportation & Logistics sector gained 0.35%, due to the last minute buying support in HEXTECH (+120.0 sen) and WPRTS added 4.0 sen as trading momentum picked up after the noon break. Meanwhile, the Telecommunications & Media sector (-0.88%) ended lower amid selling pressure in ASTRO (-4.5 sen) and TM (-1.0 sen); the former reported weaker results.
