Today I noticed there is UMA on CIMB issued call warrant (Genting C-46).
Today Genting price gained RM0.070 sen from rm9.00 to rm 9.07, but the price of Genting C46 remains static at rm0.025 (BID) and rm0.030 (ASK), unchanged since yesterday when Genting traded at range of rm8.93-8.99.
HOWEVER, GENTING C47 (Macquarie Issued warrant) GAINED 25% from 0.040 to 0.050!
LET COMPARE THESE 2 WARRANT:
Genting C46: Genting C47:
Exercise price - RM 9.85 (LOWER) Exercise price - RM 9.99 (HIGHER)
Expiry date - 31/7/2018 (SAME) Expiry date - 31/7/2018 (SAME)
Conversion Ratio - 5 : 1 (LOWER) Conversion ratio - 7 : 1 (HIGHER)
Genting C46 has LOWER premium, HIGHER gearing and SAME expiry date compared with Genting C47. WHY GENTING C47 Gained 25% and GENTING C46 not even rised 1 sen??
As warrant trader C46 is the best choice. CIMB SCAMS WILL or ALREADY CAUSED SUBSTANCIAL FINANCIAL LOSS to many investors!
P/S the complaint already been made to warrant@cimb.com , bursa malaysia and securities comission.
If want to invest warrant, only company warrant with life span more than 1 year is considered investment.
The rest... Really speculation. No choice, have to follow house rule. They buka table, want change rule instantly also no need to ask us.
BTW, why no inform to sapu? Haha

it is hard to play against these type of market makers. they do not want to move the warrant, so what can the small timer do? That's why all of us lost money when we play these covered warrants. We have to stop playing these warrants. We will lose all our capital if we continue to play. We have no chance of winning. Stop!Stop!Stop!

Both c46 nad 47 are way out of the money. There is no transaction done on C47. If there is any scam, its McQ, not CIMB. Last quote is 7 sens. You wanna buy at 3sen (c46) or 7sen (c47)? I suggest you go learn more abt call warrants before making such comments.
2018-04-18 19:43
Apprentice, I trade warrant longer than you drink milk.
Please check the transaction and use brain before comment, c47 yesterday 17/04/2018 40000 shares was traded and close at 0.040. You said no transaction done? I suggest you go learn how to check properly and use brain before comment. ;)
2018-04-18 19:54
how do you know i drink milk less than you trade?
What an idiot. A cw with lower ex price, lower ratio and lower price is much better.
Go learn cw first, Idiot.
2018-04-18 20:01
What a stupid, c46 is the lowest ratio, lowest ex price and lowest conversion ratio for all Genting have now as I wrote on my article. looks like you are the one who don't know anything Cw. What a newbie talking cock
2018-04-18 20:10
Exactly, c46 is lowest, but still way out of the money. no reason for it to be more than what its worth now unless you hasve bought higher. c46 intrinsic value is roughly negative 16sen. No reason to pay 5sen with only 105 days left.
For someone wanting to buy, c46 is a better cw than c47.
If you cliam to have played call warrants so long, you should know which IB is fairer.
So if you lose money buying cws, dont simply accuse IB of scandal. No balls dont play cws. Dont be a sore loser.
2018-04-18 20:29
What is the problem with you? Did you read my article properly? My article wrote c46 is better than c47. Then you comment the same thing.
2018-04-18 20:39
ok no need to fight over small issues. I play warrants its my game for a long time. My advise is never play call warrants issued by IB. You want to know why google what i have said before. No point repeating the whole story. Don't play call warrants unless you like to do donations. The big boys IB n syndicates is sitting on the keyboard and playing your backside Hahahaha.....
2018-04-18 21:21
That is why investors are always on the loosing side as the IB has no obligation to push the price up and buy the warrant. The IB can wait for the call warrant to expire and pay for the difference if the price persist or higher. Furthermore to a certain extent, the price can be monitored and restrainted to go higher. Again on expiry it is on cash settlement basis. Totally alike a casino type. The reason probably why investors like to buy because with small capital, they can earn a handsome returns. I don't understand why Bursa can allow the call warrant to sell???
2018-04-19 08:08
wah...lose money gambling then say the host cheating...hehehehe.....really like movie god of gamblrr...hahaha....
2018-04-19 08:13
Xeno you are right. CIMB is the biggest con IB.
Kindly post the results of yours complaints to Bursa Malaysia and Securities Commission here later.
2018-04-19 09:26
You can only cry foul if CIMB manipulate the mother share prices just be4 the expiry of warrant. I think there is 1 week averaging the price be4 expiry.
2018-04-19 09:30
IB will state that they will keep the bid but after they have sold a fair amount of their stocks you can see they will reduce the bid quantity from say 5000 lots to 2500 lots only
2018-04-19 09:30
IB even reduce the bid price over night which is clearly not due to time decay but manipulation and cheating.
2018-04-19 09:37
Beware of CIMB in particular don't buy the call warrants issued by CIMB ever.
2018-04-19 09:41
CIMB claim of no manual interventions and the bid and ask prices are set by preset parameters are all lies.
2018-04-19 09:46
You must understand one thing before you trade CW, i.e. learn to calculate the CW's fair value.
There are methods to calculate the fair value, all produce quite similar fair value.
These methods are not created by cats or dogs, but they were recognized as one of the 17 great formulas that changed the course of human history.
I do understand the principle of these calculations.
CIMB is the most reasonable issuers, I do not even want to look at those CW issued by others.
I would summarize as follows:
1) For CW issued by CIMB, you buy low and sell higher or you can keep until cash settlement.
2) For CW issued by others, you buy high and sell higher, do not keep long.

for those who trade call warrants so many years, do they realized that the price you pay for c46 is premium of 10% and c47 premium of 14% above the fair value?
You buy call warrant is like to betting with the issuer, while they are selling you at a premium price, you bet with them until expiry. In this case CIMB issuer is on the view that the monter will not goes up so much , therefore they are not willing to market made the price up. WHile c47, the macquaries is on the view that genting can move higher, so the maket make to create some trading opportunity.
Utimately , if genting mother share move above the fair value, there is no choice, all call warrant issuerS will have to respond to it. In this case, c46 is 9.85+5(0.025)=RM9.975. so, if genting move beyond this price and cimb issuer still dont respond, then you may complaint to bursa, sc or whatsoever.
I am as frustrated as you guys here because, a lot of time mother share moved, but call warrants not moving at all.
PLEASE REMEMBER THIS BY HEART, 1. YOU BUY AT PREMIUM PRICE 2. YOU ARE BETTING WITH THE ISSUER. (SOMETIMES THE ISSUER MAY LOSS MONEY ALSO, IN THIS CASE IF GENTING IS RM10.50 NOW AND WILL THE CIMB SIISUER STILL WANT TO SELL AT 0.025/0.03? THINK AGAIN BEFORE YOU GET SO ANGRY!!)
2018-04-19 11:11
No. The problem is issuer especially CIMB are not consistent with bid price and quantity.
For instance when mother is the same price like just yesterday only yesterday so can't be due to time decay the bid price and quality can be lower if the IB have already sold a fair amount of the call warrant.
2018-04-19 11:28
AGREE.....so, you have a choice, dont get involve with this type of issuer... I have the same feeling with you too
2018-04-19 11:31
GENTING is at 9.04 now,
The fair value for:
1) WA = 1.27
2) C46 = 0.03
3) C47 = 0.02
Trade at your own risk.
