Mr. Lim Eng Huat ("Mr. Lim") has extensive professional experiences in the statutory and special period audit of private limited companies and public limited companies operating in Malaysia in industries such as water concessionaire, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, plantation, education, hospitality and property development. He also has extensive experiences in the audit of shared services centres and the integrated audit of significant local components of United States' public listed companies.

Mr. Lim began his career as an Audit Assistant in Messrs. Lim Ali & Co, Penang ("LAC") , one of the legacy predecessor firms of Messrs. Ernst & Young PLT ("EY") in 1982. He was promoted as an Audit Supervisor of LAC in 1989 and as an Audit Manager of EY Penang in 1991. He was then promoted as an Audit Senior Manager of EY Penang in 1994. He held the position of Assurance and Advisory Business Services Principal of EY Penang from 1998 and was admitted as an Assurance Partner of EY Penang in 2002. 

Mr. Lim held the position of Assurance Leader & Office Managing Partner of EY Ipoh from July 2016 and of EY Northern Region (Penang & Ipoh) from July 2018 to June 2022 and of Assurance Partner of EY Penang from July 2022 until his retirement on 30 June 2023.
